George Amoh completed his studies at the University of Ghana with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. He participated in the Advanced International Program on Human Rights and Humanitarian Law studying governance structures in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and South Africa under the sponsorship of SIDA.

George was one of the key speakers at the National Human Rights Institutions and NGOs Cooperation workshop in Sri Lanka. He is a member of the Commonwealth Human Rights Network and has worked as the District Director for the Commission of Human Rights and Administrative Justice, Ghana.

He is in the final stages for his M.A (Social Work) at the University of Ghana.
